Saints Ambrose and Augustine, Folio 41r

A canticle attributed to these saints is inserted before the next canonical hour, and Ambrose and Augustine are illustrated in a quarter-page miniature at the head of their prayer. Both church fathers are arrayed in full Episcopal vestments and flank an altar in a vaulted chapel.
