Diocrès, Bruno, and Carthusians
The Vision of Bishop Hugh, Folio 96r

The bishop of Grenoble wears a miter in his sleep as he dreams of seven stars, foretelling the arrival of Bruno and his six companions. The statue topping the central column identifies the structure as the bishop’s palace. Look closely to see the underdrawing of a small shrine on the wall above Bishop Hugh’s head.
