Nerium oleander (detail)

The pale pink flowers of this specimen are single; doubled forms of oleander are also common. While we grow what we believe to be the form of the species closest to the medieval type, there are more than four hundred cultivars of this ancient ornamental shrub, ranging in color from white through cream, pink, red, carmine, purple, yellow, salmon, flesh-color, and copper.
