This large calendula in a restored section at the bottom of the tapestry is easier to read than the smaller, original calendulas shown elsewhere in the flowering meadow. The restoration repeats the convention used in the original rendering. The stylized yellow flower with the exaggerated ???tails??? appears throughout the tapestry.
