		<description>What a great post, Maggie and how lucky are you to work at The Cloisters.  Gosh, that would be a dream job for me.  Even to be an intern!  Love that Rosa gallica officinalis.  It was finished blooming to early this year because of the horrid heat in western PA.  I think botanical names are so important because wherever you are in the world and whatever language is spoken, you can still identify a plant.  Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us.</description>
